Not really! Usually, on crap launch day, apple drones make really long lines outside the store, so a terrorist attack with a stationary bomb won't cut it. They would have to carpet-bomb the sidewalks to actually inflict some damage, you know, to some unfortunates passing by right then, other than that no-one will actually miss drones, especially apple ones.

Apple hardcore fanboy are terrorist in psychological ways. They are incapable of changes. A slight changes in the atmosphere can send them raging on the forum and blog. According to IOA (Institue of Anti-fanboy).

Well since 9/11 haven't seen any successful attacks against airliners, but I doubt this has much to do with airport security... Nobody is even trying to bring them down and why would they? There are plenty of crowded places and vulnerable targets that can be attacked with a much better chance of inflicting casualties and generating fear. For example - Apple stores at launch day.

I don't think it goes as far as that; I think that they do this to show that they are doing something. They don't have any idea how to properly secure flights, anymore than you and I do, but they can't say that, or they will loose their jobs, so they put on a show and hope for the best. The sad thing is that it works. Very few people dare to stand up to this and call for proper reform. So, we get enormous increases in hassle while being as unsafe as ever before.
