@Tr0y wow you seem to have come around to AMD camp now??? TBH if those results are accurate then i am a little disappointed, yeah 20% and 50% improvements over the 5870 seems pretty nice but its only 14% and 20% better than the 480 and i am pretty sure the 580 will better that. As for this dual 460, i really don't get it. It must cost an unbelievable amount of money to design, test and make these cards. So they have to sell crazy amounts to make the money back and they won't because they can't compete with the price of 2 single cards not to mention 2 seperate cards will have much better thermals and so overclock much better than a dual card. Plus they are too late anyway, the next generation of cards are here, i just really don't get why they bothered.

Actually a dual 460 GPU would be great and it would have a huge performance gain, if it comes with a bog overclock. It will easily beat the GTX 480 and even come really close to the 5970.

Here's hoping that they will ditch the weird and old looking quad DVI, and replace it with one dvi, one hdmi and one dp, on the lower end of the bracket, hence leaving space for a decent exhaust following a blower type HSF. That way they would not have 300W worth of hot air, being exhaust in our case and therefor roasting our PC's insides.

They never release a dual GTX280 or GTX480 card, why?! ...I don't know why I'm asking why because the reason is completely obvious, I doubt the 6970 would be able to take on the dual GPU card alone but it should be no problem for Cayman Pro, although we will have to wait until official price tags are announced for the card
