yeah MSI has done a fine job with this card. They hold the record because they got Fermi's core clock stable at an unbelievable 1450mhz! The annoying thing is that the vast majority of extra costs of this card over reference cards will be purely R&D and mold set ups etc. If nVidia used those components and that cooler from day one with all their GTX480's then i truly believe we would talk about Fermi in a totally different light today. E.g. It wouldn't be hot as that cooler lowers the temp over 18 degrees compared to the reference cooler, its alot quieter and with the super smooth power delivery its a great overclocker or better yet nVidia would have been able to release the cards at a much higher stock core speed.

I like this card a lot, but why come out with it now when the 580 is just around the corner? maybe if the cooler bolts right on to gtx 580, and they sell the cooling system seperate.. hmm.
