I'm no fan of Fraud Abazovic, I think he makes up stuff and is the worst reporter at Fudzilla. But I'm also no fan of cheap, run of the mill, weak, featureless, needless, hardware either. There is a reason why AMD keeps needing to refresh its cards over and over again, and Nvidia doesn't... its behind the technology curve and they know it. Look at the AMD CPUs. A 6 core CPU worst than Intel's 4 core CPUs! Its junk! Not even competitive. Take a look at a 5 yr old console still going strong, and you can't even keep an AMD PC together for 6 months! You people are stupid and being taken for a ride. These cards are slower than the ones they're replacing. One thing I'll give AMD credit for is that they know when they got a dumb@$$ fanboy on the hook!

i mentioned batman already. mirror's edge is a crappy game, BUT you get a lot more fps without PhysX still same graphics. 28-34 fps on mafia 2 is shit to play at, turn PhysX off better fps. Show me any pics where you see a difference for the performance drop. where is the benefit. you are missing the point from the very beginning. Like I already said only Batman so far has made any noticeable difference, so don't go showing any batman pics. I don't find any pleasure losing 20-50% fps for a few leaves and papers blowing in the wind.

A perfectly good and well understood naming scheme being thrown out the window needs to be talked about :) We used to laugh at nVidia's naming and rebranding, then it was the turn of Intel with its rediculous 'i' series blunders with LGA-1156, LGA-1366, 4-Core AND 6-Core all being called i7 and now it turns out a whole new generation of Sandy Bridge chips on LGA-1155 are going to be called i7 too, LMFAO! It seems only fair that AMD confuse everyone this time saying that actually 5870 is faster than 6870!!

and you're brainless too. every friggen card has AA since before even dx8 wow. PhysX is useless, but I agree Nvidia has far superior technology for 3d. I would love to 3d game and I do think their active shutter glasses is very nice, which can be used on tvs and projectors as well. Yet right now fermi is a joke so next-gen 28nm NV cards would make the 3d worth it, but I still think PhysX is garbage everyone just thinks it looks better cause its an extra 'option' yet show me some pictures or fraps recordings where you even notice it.

uh okay load up the new mafia II game, turn physX on and watch your frame rate drop. Then tell me how much better it looks (no change). Then load up metro 2033 and turn it on and watch fps drop, yet with it off gee all the "physics" look just as good without losing 10fps. thank you fanboy. I loved the nvidia gtx 2xx cards but the ONLY game where physX made anything look better was the batman game, and that's cause it was dx9. Makes no difference on newer dx11 games except lower framerates. how about name a game where it actually does matter instead of saying prove it without naming something yourself. Oh check out shattered horizon dx10 based which utilizes physics quite a lot! and guess what physX makes no difference but LOWER FPS. is that enough games? Also you mean 'prove' it not proof.
