The reason why evga isn't in the stores is because they run very tight margins on hardware and best buy wants guarantee on every card sold and a sweet margin to boot. eVGA tried this before (back east and in future shop) and it failed.

Actually they are doing that EVGA has mobos, a recently announced one even has LIFETIME warranty , also they started to produce PSUs and USB 3.0 adapters...still Nvidia's move is treacherous and yes EVGA is the best company if you wanna buy Nvidia based card! yeah I said it

I have to chime in too. I have purchased EVGA cards for a while now and have had to use their RMA service (due to those pesky NVidia drivers that killed cards some time ago). I have nothing to complain about and everything to praise. It is a pretty cool company (for a change). And even though I don't frequent the forums as much, they do seem to have a pretty lively community.

Generally speaking, EVGA does provide a better quality service than the competition. His comment about the community (TF2, BFBC2, etc as well as a well used forum) and contests holds true as well. Community, customer service, and good quality (except for that one RMA...). What else could you ask for?

Come on use your logic EVGA is apparently concerned. Nvidia their "partners" want to compete with them (take a portion of their income). I don't know what you think but this is not a very nice move, to turn your back at your partners instead of supporting them. There is not such great difference. Yes i agree EVGA has better customer support but neither ASUS nor Zotac are terrible. I always buy the cheapest card and I never had to rma it. The exception is an Nvidia laptop card (one of the faulty nvidia cards).

I've been using EVGA products for a couple of years. Customer support is like no other...excellent. Just ordered a GTX 470 from the egg and a backplate and High Flow Bracket from EVGA that are mods to help with cooling...free shipping. I never had a question posted in the forums that went unanswered. Unfortunatly EVGA is at the mercy of Nvidia, and I think it would be wise for EVGA to expand into other products like monitors, handheld devices, notebooks, tablets, TV Tuners, all of which could make use of Nvidia products.

Obviously you know little or nothing about EVGA products or you'd know they have the best quality. You'll never get the level of service through companies such as ASUS, Zotac, and others than you get from EVGA
