No shit, Fuad, really?! Who would have thought - a discrete gfx cards maker caring about their #1 purpose on the market?! This type of articles that keep multiplying here are worse than cheap communist (or fascist, for that matter) propaganda, man.. Really low! :)

Not really... the thing is that nv coded part of engine engine, and under legal rights the owners can't mess with that code, other than removing it completely which would mean backpedaling on development of the game. As to the statement that GF100 is the best to use, that would be true. Not because nv told them so, but because nv coded that performance part exactly for that card, and non other. Saved the dev a few bux for nothing, my 2c. See the legal issues with Batman Arkham Asylum, as they point it out more clearly.

Sure they need AMD help... NOT. Dirt 2 supports DX 11 but doesn't use any visible API features. :P As for Metro 2033, it's developers stupidity to port game for PC. 8 GB of RAM, SSD for what?

It's all business driven decisions, folks, no emotions here, don't get fooled. 30% is still a lot of revenue, so as long as discreet sector brings money Nvidia will support it. When it stops, it'll drop it like hot potato with no regard to players. And it's not that Nvidia is evil, it's just business is about making money, not pleasing people; charities are.

I think that game developers do not really need nvidia's help. Sure nvidia can be helpfull but lets look to some examples, like metro 2033. The guys that coded it suggested that you should have nvidia fermi 470-480 gtx to have the best experience (which is true now). Well the only problem was that these cards came to the market a couple of months later the time they suggested it (2-3 i don't remember). So did these game developers spoke for themselves? I don't think so. Nvidia told them to anounce that. My point is that nvidia should not mess so much with game developers. And if they are so good at making codes they should go and make their own game. In conclusion i think that they should emphasize more on making better cards and less on controlling game developers.
