Troy, the greenies got their shit together because they rebranded a single chip to oblivion! In that time, they only had to work out the bugs during the 8000 series, after that they only had to tweak here and there and add the 9000 series which was the same thing, same for sub-GTX260, same big OEM'ed GT300. The only real deal was GT200, but that's it. This gave them a whole lot of time with a whole lot of people behind them, considering that nvidia employs around 4 to 5 time as many people. With time, people, and money from rebrands they could do it. But don't expect the same thing from here on now...

The problem with ATI is (and has been the last few years): Their hardware is great - their software SUCKS! PLEASE, ATI, can't you spare a few more developers to fix your crapware SDK2.2? Your OpenCL implementation? Your drivers? I am seriously not a NVidia Fanboy - but the green guys simple get this shit done!

I agree... there's also the misalignment of the fan and it's outline, it is lighter, kinda like it's been photoshoped in place. But as we'll get closer and closer to NI's launch, it won't matter.

These "HD 6000" cards will probably be the last to receive the ATI name, then AMD will put it's name on the Hecatoncheires "super architecture" in late 2011/early 2012 as part of the new era in AMD/ATI GPUs
