The strongest counterpoint comes from developer Paul Yanez, who recorded a video and posted a response on his blog entitled, “Video: Flash on Android Is Shockingly Great!!!” Yanez said he was surprised by our piece because he recently bought a Droid 2 and had no problems with it playing Flash Yanez demonstrated the same episode of Bones that Kevin had trouble watching The Flash player is stable, very powerful, and “there’s no difference between the Flash player in this mobile phone than on a desktop.” what you need is optimal code said Yanez, he blames the Fox website for the issues, Fox has to improve the experience for end users and make the video an image and launch the video player in a new window.

The point of adding Flash support to Nexus was never the idea that Flash is any good (at least not in the opinion of anyone I've talked to who wanted Flash on Smartphones); the point was that there is a lot of good content only available in Flash, and it would be nice to be able to access it with a Smartphone. Flash sucks, it always has and it looks like it always will, but it is ubiquitous, and there is simply no way to avoid without significantly curtailing your web browsing options. Thus, it is no surprise that Flash works badly on Smartphones, since it works badly in every other device, but it is still good to be able to access the content it enables.

Wait all flash video isn't butter smooth on Android? Quickly ban it! How dare google give us the option of flash, they disgust me! I checked your link and found an update which pretty much said "Yeah i'm full of shit and most flash video actually works fine for people it would seem. If I had a decent camera I would record my experiences with flash video on my nexus one. I can even watch the iplayer on it. Haven't had an unwatchable video yet but some do stutter at times.

I stream Flash TV shows over 3G to my Nexus One and I honestly find that it works nearly flawlessly, so I am always confused when I see these reports. Perhaps what I am viewing is optimized for Mobile (which I highly doubt). Seems the main problem would be the 3G (or wifi) connection, not the power of the phone. Either way, something is better than nothing, IMHO.
