you are correct where the heck did they got the idea wireless is stuck at 54mbps? lol wireless n started at 100mbps (or sometimes referred to as super G before standardized), then n draft 2 added 300mbps, but you never get the theoretical throughput even with full signal. If a standard comes out for 600mbps and the throughput is far higher than wireless n draft 2 then this could be interesting depending on the price.

"While wireless is stuck at 54Mbps, this kit delivers 200Mbps." Hey, great news: Wireless N is out. It offers much higher than Wireless G speeds. Say, as a tech news site, shouldn't you know that by now? "WD has introduced a rather interesting networking product that will allow users to transform home power grids into a speedy network and it's HomePlug compatible." Wow, really? Powerline networking? How new and exciting! Isn't the year 1998 great? Did some software glitch dredge up some 5 year old article, and post it on the front page? But, wait, this site hasn't been around for 5 years yet. Stop living in the past.
