"We are sure that the government which seems to be starting to get on top of its problems with poverty, toxic surface water and low literacy rates, famine and floods would just love to channel its limited resources in hunting for copy right thieves. " u forgot corruption. I live in this country and let me tell u this, one ultimate windows 7 dvd can be bought for $.59 :p....the only thing that you can purchase properly are antivirus coz most cant crack it. other than that everything is pirated. and it is not possible to just stop them coz u cant. there are too many. even the english audio dvd are pirated. @semitope: y would RIAA bother about BD. its the local film and music industry!! m pretty sure thats where the government will work on, if they work at all!!

"We are sure that the government which seems to be starting to get on top of its problems with poverty, toxic surface water and low literacy rates, famine and floods would just love to channel its limited resources in hunting for copy right thieves." I'll say the following, please read between the lines: What I have noticed is that people perceive the following: person + suit = intelligence. Or: person + government title = importance. So people as usual... start mimicking behavior the best they can. It's a pity. But stores selling suits are doing pretty well, and the government is as full as it can be!
