yea it is -- which makes the whole thing even more ridiculous IMO .. after all the time and money spent on your own software character, in the end, you ultimately own nothing

true.. To a degree ... If the software was paid for, then why can't someone join any server they wish? Blizz should be offering WOW software for free .. its not like they don't make s*itloads on the monthly subscriptions until then, I say ppl should be allowed to do what they want with their PAID software I think I've read somewhere in User Agreements that the software is licensed, not sold by Blizzard

I think this is a good news for all of us who bought the games from Blizzard legitimately. Unlike those who private the games and play on some private server. I'm sure Blizzard hated it when seeing their games (which they made) being played somewhere else and not getting any money out of it. Blizzard DESERVE their money!

This is funny. It's like someone just thinks up a random ridiculous figure for all these copyright cases. Anyway, they were wrong to charge for gaming on the server. I wonder if activision/blizzard will add this 88 mill figure to their earnings even if they don't receive it or allow investors to think they are getting that much richer.

They have to pay 88 million for a listed profit of 3 million? Does Blizzard even expect to see that money? What does Blizzard even gain? It's not like people are hacking and cheating on THERE servers, and I don't even see any ads or way for them to make cash on StarCraft2's Battle.Net system anyways. What damages are worth 85 million?
