I work at an IT environment an even when we buy new PCs with Windows 7 installed on them, guess what happens to them? Wiped to put XP on. I'm so sick of XP... Windows 7 is better in every aspect IMO. So even new sales won't help Windows 7 get integrated into businesses they just wipe it out anyways. Microsoft just really needs to drop support and patches for it. It's time to move on

I am a network administrator for a major company and I love Windows 7, it is the best thing since XP and I think it will be great for our users. The problem is our company doesn't want to let go of the web apps that only work correctly in IE6. Currently Microsoft allows us to buy from Dell and install Windows XP on a Windows 7 license but after April 2011 we cannot do that anymore legally so the clock is ticking for many companies!

The problem is that business use an "if it isn't broke, don't fix it" approach to save money and there's probably not alot M$ can do about that, but I've found productivity in Windows 7 is much better compared to XP when doing college work. The window dragging features and easy tab previews/switching make it so much more pleasant when doing essays and assignments due to the daunting task of [censored]ing around in XP resizing open windows. Little things like side by side window dragging, internet tabs and 3d window switching make life so much easier and things get done a lot quicker, if only companies realised the benifits of using the OS over XP
