AFAIK it has more texturing power instead ie better in older games but worse in newer DX11-capable games requiring the processing power. But those are a few. Also less bandwith = worse for very large displays.A bit of a mixed bag, but it sure will look better in benchmarks using normal size displays and probably oc well on air. Nothing wrong with GTX470 oc except water is almost necessary, unless one likes fan at full speed. Mine is benchstable at 815/4k on air, but loud at that of course. Silent on normal clocks.

A GTX 475 would have less processing power than a GTX 470? That seems a bit....weird.

Don't forget the cheaper GF106 and GF108 chips to launch. GF108 should be the $99 DirectX 11 Fermi (two), better to say, next generation improved fermi design with lower TDP. I'll stop now :)

Nvidia is missing out on the BestBuy crowd of upgraders. You know, the people who own Dell's but want to game on them. Well those power sucking super hot Fermis don't go over so well inside a Dell case. They also cost more than Dell people are willing to pay, video card+new power supply. Nvidia had to, their other GPU's are getting really old now.

So, the full GF104 will indeed be faster than the 470? In that case, if/when a 475 comes out it would mean the death of the 470. Not bad, not bad at all.
