Will fusion be a new socket design or is that for bulldozer? or neither?...or both??? I think I will be building my new PC before this 20% tax comes in so will probably go intel. Even though anything I buy will be EOA early next year. Damn you intel!

as more and more software is moved to a more parallelized-computing and pushed via the GPU, it is quite possible that AMD could overtake Intel in performance, and considering how Larrabee got mostly canned, unless Intel does something to overhaul drastically their IGP sector, AMD could retake a good chunk of market there.

I agree these fusion chips are a great idea, and intel's version of sticking their crappy gpu on their cpu is nothing compared to this.. AMD/ATI gpu on their CPU will be much better overall even if cpu is not up to par, especially when more things are being accelerated through gpu

It will be funny when AMD comes out of nowhere and destroys Intel in 2011 even after Intel bought themselves a year's time with a pathetic rehash of low power processors... I think.
